What I consider country helped inspire truly great artists such as Bob Dylan, The Band, and Neil Young. ill agree with your hate for all of that except techno and country. im not huge fans of them, but they’re not shitty genres like emo and rap-rock and pop-punk. i would have first said ska, honestly, before either techno or country since it all sounds the same. but at the same time, like a few other people said, it depends on people’s tastes in music. who is one person to say what’s good and what’s not. also, SoaD is not nu metal last time i checked. and just because a band sounds different from every other band in a genre doesn’t make them bad.
